What does "Haliha" mean?
Haliha is a South African slang interjection — a burst of pure disbelief, shock or surprise. It’s what you shout when someone tells you an unbelievable story, drops shocking news, or does something completely absurd. It’s the sound of a moment worth talking about. And that’s exactly what we want every trip with us to leave you with: a “haliha” moment of your own.
From the rat race to a life worth living...
Once upon a time, we were two souls slowly being drained by the rat race of life. We worked, and worked some more, and somewhere along the way we realised we were spending so much of our lives making a living that we’d forgotten what it meant to truly live.
Then one day, we decided enough was enough.
With more courage than certainty, we took a leap of faith. We resigned from our cages, sold most of what we owned, and stepped away from the comfortable life we’d built to pursue something far more meaningful: a life worth living.
It wasn’t always easy, and it certainly wasn’t without fear. But somewhere between the uncertainty, the adventures, the unexpected detours and the people we met along the way, we discovered something priceless — life is not meant to simply be survived. It is meant to be experienced.
That realisation became the heart of Haliha Adventures. We want to help others step away from the ordinary, even if only for a day, and feel alive again. To explore. To laugh. To discover. To slow down. To make memories with the people who matter most.
And perhaps, just perhaps, to return home with a story that reminds you life is an adventure worth taking.

To create a more personal, inclusive and accessible way to explore, where every couple, family and small group can experience meaningful adventures and unforgettable moments — regardless of ability, budget or preferred pace.
Our mission
Our mission is to curate personalised sightseeing and adventure experiences for couples, families and small groups of up to six guests. We take the time to understand each client’s interests, budget, comfort level and accessibility needs, then thoughtfully design excursions that create memorable experiences without the stress of one-size-fits-all tourism.
Through personal care, flexibility and genuine local knowledge, we aim to make adventure more inclusive — particularly for families travelling with neurodiverse or disabled members — so that everyone can explore, connect and enjoy the journey in a way that works for them.

We’re a husband-and-wife team who may be complete opposites, but somehow, that’s exactly what makes us work. One of us keeps an eye on the time, makes sure everyone is safe, and gets us where we need to be. The other brings the vibes, the laughter and, of course, the snacks.
Together, we bring the perfect balance of planning and spontaneity, adventure and comfort, structure and fun.
We’re not here to simply take you from one attraction to the next. We want to experience the journey with you, discover the little moments that make a trip special, and create the kind of memories that turn into stories you’ll still be telling when you get home.
